Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Reviews and prepares medical records; initiates follow-up as requested.
• Administers treatments, immunizations and medications as prescribed by practitioner.
• Documents orders and patient responses in EHR; informs RN/practitioners of changes.
• Maintains competency in nursing skills and participates in staff meetings.
• Performs emergency clinic procedures following established procedures.
• Assigns nursing tasks to unlicensed staff per standards and follows up on care.
• Follows discharge plan and coordinates referrals and patient education.
• Manages vaccine data and inventories; updates EHR and immunization records.
• Trains new personnel and serves as liaison on vaccine programs.
