Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Hawaii is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct and indirect nursing care in an outpatient setting, under the direction of a Registered Nurse and practitioners. The role supports clinic operations, prepares and administers treatments and vaccines as prescribed, and assists with patient records, immunizations, and vaccines across age groups.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) months (2080 hours) LPN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by American Heart Association.
• Hawaii state licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse at hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and prepares medical records for assigned patients and initiates follow-up as requested.
• Administers treatments, immunizations, and medications as prescribed.
• Documents orders, interventions, and patient responses; observes, reports, and collaborates on care plans.
