Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Hawaii seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for outpatient care. Under RN direction and practitioner orders, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care, orienting and assisting LPN Clinic/Meds I as needed.

You will review medical records, administer treatments, document patient responses, and coordinate care with RNs and practitioners to ensure high-quality service across age groups.

Qualifications

• LPN experience required (12 months).
• Hawaii LPN licensure is required at hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare medical records; identify and prepare orders for practitioner authorization.
• Administer treatments, immunizations and medications as prescribed; perform point-of-care testing when authorized.
• Document interventions and patient responses; communicate with RN or practitioner about changes in care.
