Job summary

Complete Care seeks an LPN Charge Nurse to provide clinical leadership and direct nursing care in a long-term care setting. You will supervise on-duty staff, administer medications, assess residents, and communicate with physicians and families on weekends.

Qualifications

• Active LPN with current license and certification.
• Charge nurse/supervisory experience required.
• Prior LTC leadership is preferred; CPR/BLS current.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CNAs and nursing staff on duty to ensure compliant resident care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely.
• Assess residents, document vitals, and update care plans as needed.
• Communicate with physicians and families during weekend shifts.
• Address change-of-condition events promptly with proper documentation.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents:

• Clinical Leadership: Supervise and guide CNAs and nursing staff on duty to ensure compassionate, regulatory-compliant resident care.
• Medication & Treatment Administration: Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and physician orders accurately and timely.
• Resident Assessment & Care Planning: Assess resident conditions, record vitals, document progress notes, and update care plans as needed.
• Physician & Family Communication: Serve as the primary contact for attending physicians, families, and emergency services during weekend shifts.
• Emergency Response: Address change-of-condition events promptly and ensure proper documentation and protocols are followed.

Does This Sound Like You?

• Active, unencumbered LPN Licensed Practical Nurse
• Charge nurse/Supervisory experience Required
• Prior nursing experience in long-Term Care (LTC) setting preferred; leadership experience preferred
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, time management, and team leadership abilities.
