Job summary

Complete Care at Corsica Hills in Centreville, MD is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Charge Nurse for full-time day shifts. The role includes on-call rotation and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Must have long-term care experience and active LPN license.

Responsibilities include supervising CNAs, administering medications, assessing residents, and communicating with physicians and families. Excellent clinical leadership and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN license.
• Charge nurse or supervisory experience required.
• Prior LTC experience is preferred; leadership experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Clinical leadership: Supervise CNAs and nursing staff on duty to ensure compassionate, regulatory-compliant resident care.
• Medication & treatment administration: Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and physician orders accurately and timely.
• Resident assessment & care planning: Assess resident conditions, record vitals, document progress notes, and update care plans as needed.
• Physician & family communication: Serve as the primary contact for attending physicians, families, and emergency services during weekend shifts.
• Emergency response: Address change-of-condition events promptly and ensure proper documentation and protocols are followed.
