Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with active state license.
• Experience with senior populations in assisted living or LTC.
• Ability to supervise staff and work in a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to residents per physician orders.
• Coordinate physical, social and emotional aspects of care.
• Monitor and document resident status and changes.
• Assist with meals and monitor nutrition and diets.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Provide training and direction to CNAs/RMAs.
