Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Murfreesboro, TN seeks a licensed Practical Nurse to manage medication plans, assess resident needs, and support wellness and safety initiatives. You will collaborate with a skilled healthcare team to ensure accurate documentation and timely responses to changes in condition.

The role requires an LPN license, strong communication, and the ability to work 8-16 hour flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Experience with seniors and supervision is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license to practice nursing in the state where the community is located.
• Experience working with the senior population, preferably in assisted living or LTC.
• Must be a team player who works well with others and has experience supervising staff.
• Must possess critical thinking skills, ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently with strong organizational skills.
• Must be in good physical condition and be able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work an 8-16 hour flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• Must attend all required trainings, CEU's and staff meetings.
• Must be certified or willing to take and pass the certification class required by the state in which employed.

Responsibilities

• Execution of the medication management plan including periodic review of the documentation.
• Observe effectiveness of the plan and communicate with the physician when changes are needed.
• Continuous assessment of resident needs with updates to appropriate individuals.
• Implement measures to ensure resident wellness and safety and appropriate documentation.
• Work in a team fashion to meet resident needs.
• Respond to emergencies timely and calmly.
• Report incidents and changes in resident condition with appropriate documentation.
• Be an active part of all activities including community events.
• Assist with delivery of meals and monitor nutrition.
