Job summary

Douglas Manor, part of Ryders Health Management, seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time, 3rd shift at our Windham, CT facility. You will provide resident-centered care, administer medications, monitor vitals, and support a collaborative healthcare team.

Eligible candidates hold an active Connecticut LPN license, have completed an accredited program, and maintain CPR/BLS certification. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid, unrestricted Connecticut LPN license.
• Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification as required by facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under supervision of an RN or physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and policy.
• Record vital signs and monitor changes in condition.
• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, hygiene.
• Perform basic wound care and dressing changes as allowed.
• Collect specimens for lab tests as ordered.
• Document care, treatments, and observations in medical records.
• Communicate resident status and concerns to the care team.
