Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Pocahontas, Iowa is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home pediatric care. The role includes performing nursing assessments, planning and delivering skilled care per orders, and monitoring patient changes in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
