Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Oxford, Iowa is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for pediatric patients in their own home. This full-time day position offers meaningful, patient-centered home health nursing and competitive compensation.

Shifts are Full Time Days (7a-4:30p) with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off and a 401(k). The hourly pay is $34 per hour.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
