Maxim Healthcare in Kalona, Iowa, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for pediatric patients in the home setting. The role offers competitive hourly pay and weekly paychecks with a benefits package including health, dental, vision, HSA and life insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

The LPN will perform nursing care using the nursing process, provide skilled services per orders, assess patient status, and document diagnoses and data for ongoing care.

Formación

• Licensed as LPN/LVN in the practicing state.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
