The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as part of a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for all delegated nursing care provided to their assigned patients by the assigned Registered Nurse (RN) on duty. The LPN is also responsible for carrying out orders from the medical practitioner and to communicate any barriers to providing service immediately to the RN and the attending medical practitioner.
