Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Hastings, MI is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with a teenage patient in their home overnight, for full or part-time schedules.

You will provide skilled nursing care per prescribed orders, monitor physiologic and psychosocial changes, and document assessments and care plans. Active Michigan LPN/LVN license, current BLS, and TB or Chest X‑ray are required; one year of nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN/LVN in Michigan.
• TB test or Chest X-ray current.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
