Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide in-home care to Pediatric and/or Adult patients. Full/part-time positions available with a pay rate of $30–$35 per hour.

Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to assess and deliver skilled nursing services in accordance with orders, monitoring patient status, and documenting findings. Must hold an active LPN/LVN license and current BLS; TB test/Chest X-ray and prior nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray record current.
• BLS certification current.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and document nursing diagnoses.
