Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Ann Arbor, MI to provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes, including pediatric and adult cases with gastrostomy, tracheostomy or ventilator needs.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray current

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.


• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders


• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.


• Collects, analyzes, and interpretes data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.


• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.


• Current BLS card.


• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
