Job summary

Ascent Healthcare Management in North Carolina seeks an LPN to provide bedside care, administer medications, and monitor residents in a skilled nursing setting. The role includes taking vital signs, assisting with comfort, wound care, and supporting staff to ensure quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a current NC LPN license, up-to-date first aid/CPR, and demonstrates strong customer service and compassion in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LPN license in NC.
• First aid and CPR certification up-to-date.
• Excellent staff training and customer service skills.
• Willingness to make a difference and work collaboratively.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and administer medications with documentation of effects.
• Take vital signs (temp, BP, pulse, respiration).
• Assist with resident comfort and mobility as needed.
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas as directed.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters.
• Provide wound care and follow care plans.
• Coach and support staff as necessary.

We have 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available. 8 or 12 hr shifts.

What you will do:

• Provide bedside care. Administer medications and document therapeutic effects
• Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration)
• Assist with resident comfort
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas
• Collect samples and monitor catheters
• Provide wound care
• Help coach staff as necessary

What you need to have:

• Willingness to make a difference!
• Up to date first aid and CPR certification
• Current LPN license in NC
• Exceptional staff training and customer service skills
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor
