Swain Community Hospital in Bryson City, NC, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for its Medical/Surgical unit. The 14-bed unit operates 3x12s with day shifts (7am–7pm).
The role emphasizes compassionate care, with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio and collaboration with physicians, APRNs, RNs, and CNAs. In addition to clinical duties such as vitals, injections, medications, wound care, and charting, you will help prepare rooms, support procedures, and document care in the medical record.
Job Type: Full Time | Day $7,500 Sign-On Bonus with a 2-year commitment for eligible candidates.
Schedule: 3x12s, day shift (7a-7p). Holidays and weekends required.
