Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes, serving pediatric and/or adult clients. The role emphasizes applying the nursing process to assess and address patient needs with respect to prescribed orders.

Qualified candidates hold an active LPN license, current TB/x-ray and BLS, with a preference for at least one year of nursing experience. Competitive pay and benefits accompany opportunities to deliver high-quality home health

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
