Job summary

Townsend Energy in Danvers, MA is seeking an LP Technician - Residential HVAC Service to install and service gas HVAC systems, heat pumps, boilers, and related equipment. The role offers a competitive $32.00 to $45.00 per hour with experience-based pay, and schedules Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, servicing, and educating homeowners, reading wiring diagrams, and using a tablet daily.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HVAC experience
• MA Gas license
• EPA Universal Certification
• Experience consulting customer with repair and replace decisions
• Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Certificate from a HVAC Technical School -Desired
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Service and maintenance on residential gas HVAC systems
• Propane and electric heating/air conditioning systems, heat pumps, ductless systems, and boilers
• Providing excellent customer service
• Consulting with and educating homeowners on systems and product
• Ability to contact tech support with diagnostic questions
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Daily use of tablet
