Job summary

Townsend Energy in Danvers/Newburyport, MA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for residential and light commercial HVAC service. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance across oil, propane, natural gas, and electric systems.

Expect to educate homeowners and provide excellent customer service while using tablets daily. Multiple shifts offered with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Residential HVAC service experience.
• AC service experience.
• Annual routine maintenance experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Experience consulting customers with repair and replacement decisions.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• MA or NH Gas Licensed - Desired, training provided.
• MA or NH Oil License - Desired, training provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate from a HVAC Technical School - Desired.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

Job description

HVAC Service - Maintenance Technician | $32.00 to $50.00 per hour, depending on experience and shift

Pay Range

• 1st Shift | $32.00 to $45.00 + per hour, depending on individuals' capabilities
• 2nd Shift | $38.00 - $50.00 per hour | must have AC, oil & propane experience
• Weekends Only | $32.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on individuals' capabilities

Work Schedule

• 1st Shift | 7:30am - 4:00pm | Monday to Friday
• 2nd Shift | 3:00pm - 11:00pm | Monday to Friday
• Weekends Only | 7:00am - 5:00pm | Saturday & Sunday
