Job summary

Townsend Energy in Manchester, NH is seeking an LP Service and Delivery Technician to perform service, troubleshooting, and maintenance on residential propane HVAC equipment, including heat pumps and boilers, while delivering fuel on a safe, scheduled route.

Ideal candidates have propane delivery experience, a valid propane license, CDL Class B, and endorsements; you will work Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with comprehensive benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of propane delivery experience.
• Valid propane license.
• CDL Class B minimum; Class A preferred.
• Tanker, Hazmat, and Air Brake endorsements.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Experience with GPS, navigation apps and route planning.
• Familiarity with tablet-based data entry and logging.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, troubleshooting, and maintenance on residential propane HVAC equipment.
• Work on propane and electric heating and cooling systems, including heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, furnaces, and boilers.
• Load and unload fuel delivery trucks as needed.
• Deliver fuel safely and accurately to customer locations.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and maintain scheduled delivery times.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and team members.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Utilize a company-issued tablet for daily operations and recordkeeping.

LP Service and Delivery Technician

Pay: $32.00 to $45.00 + per hour, depending on experience

Work Hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm | Monday through Friday

What You Will Be Doing

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in propane service and/or HVAC work
• Valid propane license
• At least one year of propane delivery experience
• Valid CDL Class B minimum (Class A preferred)
• Tanker, Hazmat, and Air Brake endorsements
• Ability to pass a DOT physical
• Familiarity with GPS systems, navigation apps, and route planning tools
• Experience entering and managing data on tablets or mobile devices preferred
• Ability to maintain delivery records, logs, and documentation
• Clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
