Job summary

Townsend Energy in Danvers, MA is seeking an HVAC Installer to lead residential and light commercial installation projects. You will install oil, propane, natural gas, and air HVAC systems and ductwork, including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and radiant heat.

This full‑time position runs 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday–Friday, with a take home company vehicle and gas card. We offer cross‑training, education and licensing programs, and a strong benefits package (medical, vision, dental, 401k, paid time

Qualifications

• Valid HVAC certification and licensing where required.
• 4+ years installation experience with hvac systems.
• EPA Universal Certification and clean driving record.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation jobs for residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Install oil, propane, natural gas, and air HVAC systems and duct work.
• Furnace, AC, heat pumps, boilers, radiant heat installations.
• Consult with customers and answer questions; supervise installers.

Job Title: HVAC Installer

Pay Rate: $35.00 to $45.00 + per hour. We pay based on experience and capabilities

Work Hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday

Qualifications / Skills:

• Valid driver's license & insurable driving record
• 4 + years of installation experience2 + years of Job lead/supervisor experience desired
• Radiant heat experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• Proficient experience with refrigerant, gas, oil, propane, and electric heating/air conditioning systems, heat pumps, and ductless systems
• Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and manuals
• Experience in all HVAC low-voltage systems
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Certificate from an HVAC Technical School desired
