Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Master's degree in Special Education, or enrollment in a Master's program, preferred.
• Experience in Early Childhood strongly preferred.
• Training in Preventing Academic Failure, The Hochman Method/The Writing Revolution and/or Singapore Math preferred.
• Independent school teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cognitive, linguistic, and developmental needs of elementary students.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion work.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Teacher supports the Head Teacher in the development and implementation of instruction in all subjects.
