Job summary

ADT is seeking a Field Operations Technician to install and service low-voltage security systems in homes and small businesses across the United States. You will install wiring, test and configure systems, and ensure reliable operation while delivering quality workmanship to earn customer trust.

You will educate customers on system features, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a safe, clean workspace. A high school diploma, valid driver's license, and flexibility to work evenings/weekends are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (additional licensing may be required by location).
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics.
• Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-first communication style.
• Self-directed with solid time management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans
• Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections including monitoring center communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality
• Educate customers on system features, usage, and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow all safety protocols
