Job summary

ADT is seeking a Field Operations technician to install and service low-voltage systems in homes and businesses across the United States. You will perform wiring, testing, and configuration to ensure reliable performance and customer trust through professional workmanship and clear communication.

You will educate customers on features, provide troubleshooting, and uphold safety standards while working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics
• Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle
• Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-first communication style
• Self-directed with solid time management in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans
• Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections including monitoring center communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality
• Educate customers on system features, usage, and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow all safety protocols
