Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking a Field Technician to install and service low-voltage security systems in customer homes and businesses across Colorado. You will perform site assessments, install wiring, test configurations, and ensure reliable operation while educating customers on features and troubleshooting.

We value hands-on problem solving, strong communication, and the ability to work independently, with a safety-focused approach and a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics.
• Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and customer‑first communication style.
• Self-directed with solid time management in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install low‑voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans
• Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections including monitoring center communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality
• Educate customers on system features, usage, and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow all safety protocols
