Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking a Field Service Technician to install and support low-voltage security systems in customer homes and small businesses. You will ensure systems are installed, tested, and configured for optimal performance and reliability.

You'll work hands-on in customers' locations, troubleshoot issues, educate users on features, and maintain a safe work environment. A valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours are required, with opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics.
• Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans.
• Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections including monitoring center communication.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality.
• Educate customers on system features, usage, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow all safety protocols.
