Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to perform service installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

You will interpret drawings, terminate cables, install and troubleshoot control wiring, and maintain tools and vehicles while working with supervisors and crew to meet project goals. This role requires safety and efficiency, the ability to work at heights and in tight spaces, and strong

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Journeyperson license where required.
• Less than 6 years electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical service installations, alterations, additions, and repairs with limited supervision.
• Interpret drawings, terminate cables, install and troubleshoot control wiring.
• Accurately bend and install conduit; splice high voltage and fiber optic cables.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate tasks with the crew to meet deadlines.
• Maintain project documentation and update customers on progress.
• Ensure safe work habits and proper care of tools, equipment, and vehicle.
• Coordinate field activities and assign tasks according to ability.
• Dig trenches and work in heights and tight spaces.
