Gaylor Electric, Inc. seeks a Service Technician to perform electrical service installations, alterations, additions, and repairs across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

You will read drawings, terminate cables, install and troubleshoot control wiring, bend conduit, and maintain tools and vehicles. The role requires safety‑driven work habits, the ability to work with limited supervision, and coordination with crews to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Journeyperson license where required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability by the company’s carrier.
• Understands NEC, state and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Read electrical construction drawings, schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic diagrams.
• Terminate cables, install and troubleshoot control wiring.
• Accurately bend and install conduit.
• Perform terminations/splicing of high voltage and fiber optic cables.
• Plan, schedule and organize tasks to meet deadlines with crew.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle, ensuring safety and organization.
• Document progress and communicate with the service department.
