Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking an on-site electrical supervisor to lead installations, alterations, additions, and repairs across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

You will manage field personnel, ensure safety, budget, schedule, and quality while adhering to NEC and local codes. Ideal candidates hold an accredited apprenticeship or six years of experience and a Journeyman license, with strong blueprint reading and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Accredited Apprenticeship or six years of on-the-job electrical experience.
• Journeyman license is required as per project/local requirements.
• Strong knowledge of NEC/state/local codes and ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates acceptable company work practices to be emulated by others.
• Leads and coordinates on-site activities for 1–6 helpers, apprentices, and journeypersons.
• Manages project schedules, safety, and quality to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Conducts meetings and huddles to communicate project objectives and safety.
• Ensures crew reports to site locations on time and tracks progress.
• Interacts with owners, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate project success.
