Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a journeyman electrician to lead and perform installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

You will troubleshoot and solve problems, read blueprints, and work with NEC standards to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality results. The role requires ACC Apprenticeship or equivalent experience, journeyman license as needed, and the ability to operate ladders/boom lifts and see

Qualifications

• Accredited Apprenticeship Program completion or six years on the job electrical experience.
• Journeyman License required in states, locales, or projects, as required.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics.
• Must comply with OSHA safety requirements and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Reports to assigned job site location on time, as directed.
• Maintains and stores tools, materials, and equipment properly.
• Organizes materials to keep work area clean.
• Interprets electrical construction drawings and terminates cables.
• Trains and supervises Helpers and Apprentices in proper work practices.
• Performs tasks with limited supervision and ensures timely installations.
