Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to perform service installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings in Nashville.

You will read drawings, terminate cables, install and troubleshoot control wiring, bend conduit, and maintain tools and vehicles while meeting safety, efficiency, and project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Journeyperson license in states/locales where required.
• Must understand NEC and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and ladder diagrams.
• Terminate cables, install and troubleshoot control wiring.
• Accurately bend and install conduit.
• Plan, schedule, and organize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle; ensure safe work area.
• Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and crew to meet objectives.
