Job summary

Wachter, Inc. is hiring Low Voltage Service Technicians for service work across the United States. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage cabling in commercial settings, with occasional travel requiring hotel stays.

The role requires CAT5e, fiber optic, and network experience, plus certifications such as BICSI or Systimax. Shifts vary from short to long days, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Data Cable Technician with CAT5e, fiber optic, and network experience.
• Industry certifications (BICSI, Systimax, Panduit, Beldon, Corning) are a huge plus.
• Flexible schedule; some days 0-4 hours, others 10-14 hours; shifts mornings/nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage cabling in commercial buildings.
• Run low voltage cabling including drilling concrete walls and conduit work.
• Ensure cables are neatly tied and bundled per safety regulations.
• Install cable support structures (j-hooks, cable racks, innerduct).
• Test newly installed cable systems and devices for operability.
• Troubleshoot network cabling issues.
