Job summary

Next Level Technician in Durham, NC is hiring a Low Voltage Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and service access control, CCTV, and related low-voltage systems at commercial and industrial sites. You will interpret blueprints, install hardware, and maintain safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in commercial installation with access control and CCTV, plus knowledge of telecom networks. Travel within North Carolina may be required; weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial installation experience in access control or CCTV.
• Working knowledge of telecom and data networks.
• Programming experience in access control and CCTV is a plus.

Low Voltage Service Technician: Access Control/Security Systems – Durham, NC

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and program/commission security and access control devices
• Install door hardware (mag locks, electric strikes, etc.)
• Install, service, and troubleshoot CCTV systems
• Read and interpret access control and CCTV blueprints
• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
• Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites (schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, etc.)

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial installation experience (access control/CCTV)
• Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
• Programming experience in access control and CCTV a plus
• Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
• Willingness to travel to job sites within North Carolina as needed
