Responsibilities
- Pull, route, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable
- Assist with cable terminations and punch down voice/data jacks
- Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF rooms, and other structured cabling infrastructure
- Maintain clean cable management and labeling standards
- Follow blueprints and work instructions from lead technicians
- Work safely on ladders and lifts as needed
- Support structured cabling installations in active hospital environments
- Maintain a clean, professional work area while following all hospital and jobsite safety requirements
Requirements
- 1+ years of commercial structured cabling or low voltage experience
- Experience pulling CAT5e/CAT6 cable in commercial environments
- Comfortable working in healthcare facilities
- Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends as project schedules require
- Flu shot required for hospital access
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus
- Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
