Job summary

Meade is seeking an ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer I (Low Voltage) to join our Engineering team. You will design network infrastructure for mission-critical facilities, including fiber/copper cabling, rack elevations, and telecom rooms, delivering construction drawings and BIM models in Revit.

The role requires 2+ years in ICT/structured cabling design, a Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, and knowledge of BICSI, TIA/EIA standards.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in ICT/structured cabling design or network infrastructure design.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
RCDD certification preferred—this is not software/IT networking.
Knowledge of network architecture and infrastructure design principles.
Experience with data center environments.
Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD, BIM coordination, and standards (BICSI, TIA/EIA).

Responsibilities

Design ICT and network infrastructure systems including structured cabling and pathways.
Develop LAN/WAN topology diagrams, layouts, and cable routing.
Produce construction drawings, rack elevations, equipment schedules, and room layouts.
Design passive infrastructure, SEF, OSP, and coordination with civil/electrical disciplines.
Prepare BIM-coordinated ICT models and design documentation for projects.
Coordinate with project stakeholders and respond to RFIs and submittals.
