Job summary

Meade, a full‑service design firm, seeks a Senior ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer (Low Voltage) to craft data-center grade cabling and backbone systems. You will create fiber/copper pathways, SEF infrastructure, and outside plant designs, using Revit/AutoCAD and BIM coordination.

You will collaborate with engineers and PMs to develop detailed drawings, rack elevations, and material specs while ensuring compliance with BICSI, TIA/EIA, and ANSI standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of ICT/structured cabling or network infrastructure design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• RCDD certification is required (not a software/IT networking position).
• Knowledge of network architecture and infrastructure design principles.
• Experience with data center environments.
• Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD, BICSI, TIA/EIA, construction drawings, rack elevations.
• MS Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with structured cabling systems and standards (TIA‑568).
• Ability to work with Project Managers, Engineers and Designers.
• Strong documentation and collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design ICT and network infrastructure systems, including structured cabling and pathways.
• Develop LAN/WAN topology diagrams and physical infrastructure layouts.
• Produce construction drawings, cable routing, equipment schedules and rack elevations.
• Design SEF infrastructure, fiber/Vault placements, and conduit coordination.
• Develop outside plant designs with civil and electrical coordination.
• Apply BICSI, TIA/EIA, ANSI standards for compliant designs.
• Coordinate low-voltage systems (AV, security, wireless) with network design.
• Prepare BIM-coordinated ICT models and clash detection workflows.
• Contribute to data center design for enterprise, colocation and mission-critical facilities.
• Assist in RFIs and shop drawings reviews; support site visits and design reviews.
