Job summary

Meade seeks an ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer I (Low Voltage) to design network infrastructure and structured cabling for data centers and mission-critical facilities. You will deliver detailed designs, rack elevations, and telecom room layouts using Revit/AutoCAD, applying BICSI and TIA/EIA standards.

The role focuses on physical infrastructure, SEF design, and coordination with civil and electrical disciplines, requiring collaboration with PMs, engineers, and designers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years ICT/structured cabling or network design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• RCDD certification preferred — not a software/IT networking position.
• Knowledge of network architecture and infrastructure design principles.
• Experience with data center environments.
• Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD, BICSI, TIA/EIA, construction drawings, rack elevations.
• Proficiency with MS Office products, especially Excel.
• Working knowledge of structured cabling systems and standards including TIA-568.
• Ability to work in a team with PMs, Engineers, and Designers.
• Ability to produce clear, coordinated design documentation.
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
• Communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Network Design & Architecture for ICT, structured cabling, and telecom pathways.
• Develop LAN/WAN topology diagrams, layouts, and pathway routing.
• Produce construction drawings, cable routing, rack elevations, and equipment schedules.
• Design passive infrastructure and SEF, fiber/copper systems.
• Coordinate ICT systems with electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Prepare BIM-coordinated ICT models and design documentation.
