Job summary

Meade is seeking an ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer I to join our Engineering team. This role focuses on the design of network infrastructure and structured cabling systems for data centers and mission-critical facilities, using Revit/AutoCAD and BIM coordination. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in ICT/structured cabling design, a B.S.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ICT/structured cabling design or network infrastructure design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• RCDD certification preferred; not a software/IT networking position.

Responsibilities

• Design ICT and network infrastructure systems including structured cabling (fiber and copper) and telecommunications pathways.
• Develop LAN/WAN topology diagrams, logical network layouts, and physical infrastructure designs.
• Produce detailed deliverables: construction drawings, cable routing and pathway layouts, equipment schedules and specifications, telecommunications room layouts and rack elevations.
• Design passive infrastructure including fiber backbone, copper cabling, cross-connect/ODF configurations, SEF infrastructure, and coordination with civil/electrical disciplines.
• Develop outside plant designs including conduit systems and site routing; apply BICSI, TIA/EIA, ANSI standards for compliant designs.
• Coordinate ICT systems with electrical, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare BIM-coordinated ICT models using Revit (MEP) and maintain version control and project records.
