Job summary

Meade is actively seeking an ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer (Low Voltage) to join our Engineering team. This role focuses on the design of network infrastructure, structured cabling, fiber/copper backbone routing, and rack elevations for data centers and mission-critical facilities.

The candidate will produce construction drawings and NEC-compliant layouts using Revit. The ideal applicant has a solid foundation in network architecture, data center experience, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ICT/structured cabling design or network infrastructure design.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• RCDD certification preferred — not software/IT networking.
• Knowledge of network architecture and infrastructure design principles.
• Experience with data center environments.
• Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD, BICSI, TIA/EIA, construction drawings, rack elevations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Structured cabling systems, telecommunications spaces and pathways knowledge (TIA-568).
• Ability to work in a team with PMs, Engineers, Designers.
• Ability to produce clear, coordinated design documentation.
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design ICT and network infrastructure systems, including structured cabling and pathways.
• Develop LAN/WAN topology diagrams and physical infrastructure layouts.
• Produce construction drawings, cable routing, equipment schedules, rack elevations.
• Design passive infrastructure and SEF infrastructure with fiber and conduit plans.
• Coordinate OSP designs with civil and electrical disciplines.
• Apply BICSI, TIA/EIA, ANSI standards for scalable designs.
• Support integration of AV, security, and wireless systems.
• Contribute to data center infrastructure design and data hall layouts.
• Prepare BIM-coordinated ICT models and clash-detection workflows.
• Create design documentation and ensure version control throughout the project.
