Job summary

Meade is a full-service design firm focused on data centers, cloud providers, and large-scale construction. We seek an ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer I (Low Voltage) to design structured cabling, backbone systems, and telecom pathways for mission-critical facilities.

This role emphasizes network infrastructure design, BIM coordination using Revit, and collaboration with engineers and constructors to deliver high-quality designs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years ICT/structured cabling design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• RCDD certification preferred; this is not software/IT networking.
• Knowledge of network architecture and infrastructure design principles.
• Experience with data center environments.
• Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD and BIM coordination.

Responsibilities

• Design ICT and network infrastructure systems including structured cabling (fiber/copper) and pathways.
• Develop LAN/WAN topology diagrams, logical network layouts, and physical infrastructure design.
• Create cable routing and pathway layouts; prepare equipment schedules and specifications.
• Design passive infrastructure including fiber/backbone, copper cabling, and cross-connect/ODF.
• Coordinate SEF infrastructure and outside plant (OSP) designs.
• Support design and coordination of low-voltage systems (security, CCTV, access control).
• Prepare construction documentation for fit-outs, upgrades, and new builds.
• Coordinate ICT with electrical, mechanical, and other disciplines.
• Collaborate in design reviews, site visits, and client workshops.
