Job summary

Meade seeks an ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer I (Low Voltage) to join its Engineering team. You will design network infrastructure and structured cabling for data centers and mission-critical facilities, delivering BIM-coordinated models and construction documents.

The role emphasizes passive infrastructure, SEF, OSP, and coordination with electrical/mechanical disciplines, requiring Revit/AutoCAD proficiency and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ICT/structured cabling design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• RCDD preferred but not software/IT networking.
• Proficiency with Revit/AutoCAD and BIM workflows.
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure standards (TIA/BICSI).

Responsibilities

• Design ICT and network infrastructure systems, including structured cabling and telecommunications pathways.
• Develop LAN/WAN topology diagrams and physical infrastructure layouts.
• Create equipment schedules and specifications.
• Design SEF infrastructure and outside plant elements for data centers.
• Prepare construction documentation and coordinate with civil/electrical disciplines.
• Collaborate in design reviews, site visits, and client workshops.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors during construction and commissioning.
