Job summary

Meade is a full-service design firm seeking an ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer to craft network infrastructure and structured cabling for mission-critical and data center projects. You will design fiber/copper backbones, rack elevations, and telecom rooms using Revit and AutoCAD, while coordinating with civil and electrical disciplines.

The role emphasizes BICSI/TIA/EIA standards, BIM workflows, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in ICT/structured cabling or network design.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• RCDD certification preferred — not a software/IT networking role.
• Knowledge of network architecture and infrastructure design principles.
• Experience with data center environments.
• Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD, BICSI, TIA/EIA, construction drawings, rack elevations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
• Working knowledge of structured cabling systems and standards such as TIA/EIA.
• Ability to work in a team with project managers, engineers and designers.

Responsibilities

• Design ICT and network infrastructure, including structured cabling and pathways.
• Develop LAN/WAN topology diagrams, physical layouts and cable routing.
• Produce construction drawings, cable routing, rack elevations and equipment schedules.
• Design passive infrastructure including fiber/copper backbones and ODF configurations.
• Coordinate with civil/electrical disciplines and coordinate with vendors during construction.
• Prepare BIM-coordinated ICT models and clash detection workflows.
• Support integration of AV, CCTV, wireless systems into the ICT design.
• Prepare design documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
