Job summary

Meade is a full-service design firm specializing in engineering solutions for data centers and large-scale facilities. We are seeking an ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer I (Low Voltage) to design cabling, pathways, and telecom rooms for mission-critical projects.

You will create BIM-coordinated models in Revit/AutoCAD, develop data hall layouts, and coordinate with electrical/mechanical teams. 2+ years in ICT cabling is expected, with RCDD preferred and Nevada-based work supported.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ICT/structured cabling design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• RCDD certification preferred.
• Knowledge of network architecture and infrastructure design principles.
• Experience with data center environments.
• Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD; familiar with BICSI and TIA/EIA standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work in a team with PMs, engineers, and designers.
• Experience on data center projects (hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise).

Responsibilities

• Design ICT and network infrastructure systems, including structured cabling and telecommunications pathways.
• Develop LAN/WAN topology diagrams, logical network layouts, and physical infrastructure design.
• Cable routing and pathway layouts.
• Equipment schedules and specifications.
• Design passive infrastructure including fiber backbone systems and cross-connect configurations.
• Design SEF infrastructure, fiber vault placement, and carrier pathways coordination.
• Develop outside plant designs including conduit systems in coordination with civil/electrical teams.
• Support the design and coordination of low-voltage systems (security CCTV, access control).
• Ensure integration into overall network and ICT infrastructure design.
