Meade is seeking an RCDD-certified ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer I (Low Voltage) to join our Engineering team. This role focuses on design of network infrastructure and structured cabling for mission-critical and data center projects. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in network architecture and BIM tools like Revit/AutoCAD.

The position requires coordination with multidisciplinary teams and a focus on compliant, scalable designs for enterprise facilities.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of ICT/structured cabling or network design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• RCDD certification preferred (not software/IT networking).
• Knowledge of network architecture and infrastructure design principles.
• Experience with data center environments.
• Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD, BICSI, TIA/EIA, construction drawings, rack elevations.
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel.
• Understanding of structured cabling systems (fiber/copper) and TIA/EIA standards.
• Ability to work with Project Managers and Designers.
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Aufgaben

• Design ICT and network infrastructure systems (structured cabling and pathways).
• Develop LAN/WAN topology diagrams and physical layouts.
• Produce construction drawings, cable routing, rack elevations, and BOMs.
• Design passive infrastructure and SEF, fiber vaults, conduits.
• Develop outside plant designs with conduits and handholes.
• Coordinate with civil and electrical disciplines and apply standards.
