Job summary

Meade, a full-service design firm, is seeking an ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer I (Low Voltage) to join its Engineering team in Nevada. You will design structured cabling, fiber/copper backbone routing, rack elevations, and conduit systems for mission-critical facilities.

The role emphasizes BIM-enabled design using Revit and AutoCAD, coordination across disciplines, and development of construction drawings. RCDD preferred, with ongoing growth in a niche, high-demand field.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ICT/structured cabling design or network infrastructure design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• RCDD certification preferred (not required for software/IT networking).
• Knowledge of network architecture and infrastructure design principles.
• Experience with or exposure to data center environments.
• Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD and construction documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Design ICT and network infrastructure systems, including structured cabling and telecommunications pathways.
• Develop LAN/WAN topology diagrams, physical infrastructure layouts, and cable routing.
• Create equipment schedules, specifications, and SEF infrastructure.
• Develop data center layouts, rack plans, and cable management strategies.
• Produce BIM-coordinated ICT models and associated documents.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and civil disciplines throughout projects.
• Prepare design drawings and deliverables using Revit (MEP) and AutoCAD.
• Assist in coordination meetings, RFIs, and shop drawings.
