Job summary

Rosendin is seeking an Estimator for Low Voltage to prepare bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects nationwide. You will control construction costs by gathering information, evaluating bid specs, and creating precise takeoffs.

You will review proposals, solicit supplier quotes, and coordinate with the Chief Estimator to ensure thorough, competitive bids. This role requires strong math, communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of estimating, cost control, and construction tech.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings for takeoffs.
• Proficiency with Excel and general MS Office tools.
• Strong oral and written communication across teams and vendors.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and a collaborative team member.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications and drawings to determine scope and content of estimates.
• Prepare takeoffs and enter data into the estimating system; verify accuracy.
• Solicit quotes from suppliers and subcontractors; evaluate bids.
• Itemize subcontracts, equipment, tools, and incidental costs for bids.
• Provide detailed scope and pricing reviews to project teams before bids.
