Jobot in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Lead/Senior Structured Cabling Technician who is BICSI-certified to run field crews and own project execution from materials planning through final deployment. You will lead a two-person crew in a 50/50 fiber and copper workload across data centers, campuses, and commercial projects.

Our structured cabling work spans data centers, large campus environments, distributed antenna systems, sound masking, and wireless. We do full design/build, taking projects from concept through deployment rather than pure install‑only work. Our client base includes corporate, industrial, manufacturing, new construction, retrofit, and state/local government projects.

Job Details

We're looking for a Lead/Senior Structured Cabling Technician who is BICSI‑certified to run field crews and own project execution from materials planning through final deployment. You'll work independently in the field under a Project Manager, leading a two‑person crew (you plus a helper), with a roughly 50/50 mix of fiber and copper work across data center, campus, and commercial projects.

Requirements

• BICSI certification required

• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screen

Schedule & Location

• Typical hours 8-5pm, occasionally as early as 7am depending on the project
• Rare nights or on‑call
• Occasional weekend work tied to customer schedules
• Local to the Raleigh area
