4x10s (Mon–Th, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM) | Night shift flexibility as needed

Overview

We are seeking a Lead Structured Cabling Technician to run commercial cabling projects from start to finish. This is a hands‑on leadership role ideal for someone who can manage crews, execute from blueprints, and ensure high‑quality installations in fast‑paced environments. This opportunity offers strong autonomy, consistent project work, and a clear path to full‑time employment with advancement potential.

Key Responsibilities
Project Execution
  • Lead commercial structured cabling projects from kickoff to completion
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specs
  • Install and manage cable pathways
  • Pull, dress, label, and terminate copper cabling
  • Build out and organize telecom/IDF/MDF rooms
Testing & Quality Control
  • Ensure proper setup, accurate cable IDs, and naming conventions
  • Troubleshoot cabling issues and test failures
  • Maintain high‑quality workmanship and minimize rework
Leadership & Reporting
  • Supervise and lead field crews
  • Keep teams productive and accountable on job sites
  • Manage time, tasks, and daily jobsite activity
  • Provide daily reports including cable counts and completed work
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong background in commercial structured cabling
  • Proven leadership experience managing crews and job sites
  • Ability to read prints and run projects independently
  • Experience with copper termination and labeling, Fluke testing and troubleshooting
Nice to Have
  • Willingness to work night shifts when required
  • Flexibility to travel (future projects may include extended travel)
  • Commercial construction and healthcare project sites experience
  • Standard 4x10 schedule with occasional night work

Pay and Benefits Summary

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on employment classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may include Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital coverage, 401(k) with pre‑tax and Roth post‑tax contributions, voluntary life & AD&D, short and long‑term disability, Health Spending Account (HSA), and Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave).
