Job summary

Jobot in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Lead/Senior Structured Cabling Technician who is BICSI-certified to run field crews and own project execution from materials planning through final deployment. You will lead a two-person crew in a 50/50 fiber and copper workload across data centers, campuses, and commercial projects.

The role offers on-site work with autonomy and a focus on training, PPE, and a family-friendly culture.

Qualifications

• BICSI certification is required for project leadership.
• 3-5 years of structured cabling experience (Level II or III).
• Ability to independently organize and lead a project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize cabling projects: materials, sequencing, crew direction, and full deployment.
• Run a crew of two (lead + helper), with company-issued van, ladders/racks, and equipment provided.
• Work across structured cabling, with potential cross-training into AV and fire alarm over time.
• Perform testing and certification on completed work.
• Operate largely self-directed in the field, reporting into a Project Manager.
